OUr second visit to Lairds Cottage, thankyou so much for your wonderfully equipped cottage- a home from home! A busy week, Rothbury Street Fair, a treasure hund around Alnwick, Warkworth castle for a spot of archery and combat; cragside house and gardens...amazing! and on our one wet day a trip to 'Metro Centre' and 'Wet n Wild' waterslide park. The kids loved it. Many walks in the hills too, from Alwinton, with a great pub at the end! Rose and Thistle! Many, many thakns! Norfolk
We really dont want to go home! the cottage is wonderful- it exceeded our expectations. The location is fantastic- look out for the stoak hunting down the road out of the kitchen window and the lovely Pipistrelle bats at dusk! We feel that we only just begun to explore the area- so much to see. We've had some great walks, a good day at the coast- Craster and Alnmouth are lovely places to visit. Coming back to Lairds Cottage each evening is a pleasure! We definately hope to return again. Sheffield
